Unisensor is a well consolidated privately held limited company owned by the board of directors, the management team and employees.
The company was founded in 1997 by Tom Olesen, one of the main shareholders.
The company is profitable but most of the profit is reinvested in new patentable technologies to be integrated in new products. The company maintains currently a portfolio of 4 patent families.

Unisensor's ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certificates have been upgraded to include production.
Together with 12 international partners Unisensor now starts work on the project CELL-O-MATIC, which is funded by the EU through the 7th framework program (FP7).
