Optical Innovation

Optics plays a crucial role in the design of high tech life science devices. We develop our devices using integrated digital microscopes and ultra precise motorized lens systems. Images are captured and analysed using advanced mathematics, which optimises the quality of the results.

All our products are based on innovative ideas and skills within the integration of optics, electronics, software and mechanics. Our engineers are experts in constructing and optimising the optical parts of the devices in order to obtain the best images possible - still using standard off-the-shelf components.

If Unisensor's standardised products does not cover your specific needs, our experienced hardware engineers know which optical components to choose for your application, be it counting cells or bacteria, monitoring cell kinetics, or measuring areas or distances.

From line sensors for position detection to CMOS sensors used in digital microscopes, we can find the right sensor type with the right specifications, such as physical dimensions, resolution, signal-to-noise ratio, and dynamic range. We will choose the appropriate light source, the filters, and the lenses suited for your application, and build the system with the required resolution, focal depth, image uniformity and other requirements.

Unisensor's ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certificates have been upgraded to include production.
Together with 12 international partners Unisensor now starts work on the project CELL-O-MATIC, which is funded by the EU through the 7th framework program (FP7).
Unisensor will have a booth at the DSE Fair at DTU on 28-29 March 2012. We would like to invite you to drop by and hear about what we can offer you.
